So, when I was walking around a park in Ithaca, I wasn't paying too much attention until I had managed to notice a very large spider from across a small stream. Normally I am terrified of spiders, and I wouldn't want to be near them, but this one seemed like a good change to photograph. I believe at the time, she was protecting her eggs in the leathery looking pouch underneath her, as when she moved, it moved with her. I didn't disturb her, as she didn't bother me. Although I wouldn't want that in my house!
